NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be misleading.
Running a Reverse Image Search of the viral picture, the NM team found a news article in Fortune, dated August 25, 2015, informing about Boeing striking back at the Export-Import Bank opponents. The picture used in the article matches with the viral image, describing that it’s a Boeing 787 factory in Washington.
Checking whether Boeing is planning to open any such warehouse in India or not, our team traced a Press Release on the official website of Boeing, stating that Boeing has inaugur- ated a warehouse in Khurja. But we couldn’t find the viral image in the press release.
This confirms that although Boeing opened a warehouse in Khurja, the viral picture has nothing to do with this event or location. Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show a Boeing warehouse in Khurja, is misleading.
