FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be MISLEADING.
Doing a Reverse Image search on the video keyframes of US President Joe Biden, the NM team identified an extended version of the clip on a YouTube channel of India Today, dated September 08, 2023, with a title: “G20 Summit 2023: US President Joe Biden Lands In Delhi For G20 Summit.”
With relevant keyword search on “Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty”, our team traced a report by India Today, dated September 08, 2023, carrying a similar photo with a headline: “’It’s special’: UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on ‘son-in-law of India’ reference.”
Similarly, a Wion report dated September 09, 2023, with an identical picture of Justin Trudeau with his son Xavier, was also found The headline of the report reads: “In Pictures | World leaders that have arrived in India to attend G20 Summit.”
Hence, we can conclusively say that the viral clip featuring US President Biden, UK Prime Minister Sunak with his wife, and Trudeau is from the G20 Summit held in Delhi in September 2023, and not from the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
