On January 29, 2024, King Charles III of Britain was discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment for an enlarged prostate. Buckingham Palace released a statement on February 06, 2024, confirming that he was undergoing treatment for cancer. However, the statement did not provide details such as the prognosis, stage of cancer, or the hospital where he received treatment.
Against the backdrop, a photo depicting King Charles in a hospital bed is being widely circulated on social media claiming that King Charles is suffering from cancer and has waited an hour to see a doctor.
A Facebook user wrote: “140 crore Indians are luckier than the KING himself!!!!! And the audacity some citizens show towards the medical fraternity… high time we realise their importance.”
