A notice is being widely circulated on social media claiming that the Ministry of Railways has issued recruitment notification for Sub Inspectors and Constables in the Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force. According to the notice, As per the notice, applications have been invited for a total of 4,660 RPF sub inspector and constable positions.
A Facebook user posted with a caption: “Railway RPF Constable & SI भर्ती का 4,660 पदों पर Constable : 4,208 पद (योग्यता – 10th) *SI : 452 पद (योग्यता – Graduation)*HB ऑनलाइन आवेदन 15 अप्रैल से 14 मई 2024 तक इसी तरह की जानकारी के लिए मुझे फॉलो करें…. Instagram Id Naren_swami89”.

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be false.
With a Google Keyword Search about Railway Constable Recruitment or SI post, the NM team identified a tweet by PIB, dated February 26, 2024, clarifying that the recruitment notice is fake. The post is captioned as “A fake notice issued in the name of the Railway Ministry regarding recruitment RPF sub inspectors & constables is circulating on social media.”
Also, a press note by South Central Railways (SCR) informs that the railways ministry has not issued any communication on the recruitment of 4,208 constables and 452 sub-inspectors. It has urged the job aspirants to be aware of fraudsters.
Searching the RRB website to verify the authenticity of the notification, we could not find any notice about the recruitment circular.
Hence, we can conclusively say that the viral post about the recruitment for RPF sub-inspectors and constables is fabricated.
