NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be False.
Doing a reverse image search, the NM team spotted a YouTube short video, dated June 20, 2023, carrying same visuals with a caption: “crowd at iconic Jagannath Rath yatra, Puri, Odisha #rathyatra #puri #subscribe.”
The NDTV channel has also carried a similar image with the title: “Huge crowd of devotees gathered in Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra.”
Hence, it can be concluded that the image in question is of Jagannath Rath Yatra from Puri in Odisha, NOT Ayodhya.
