New Delhi: The Indian government convened a 40-minute meeting on Wednesday with the US Acting Deputy Chief of Mission, who was summoned to the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi’s South Block.
While details of the meeting have not been disclosed, it follows a statement from a US State Department spokesperson expressing concern over the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and emphasizing the need for a fair legal process for the Aam Aadmi Party leader.
