We ran the image through a Reverse Image Search and found it in a report by the National Herald dated March 2021. The headline read: ‘No Vote To BJP’ echoes in Kolkata, to be heard across Bengal.
We found multiple media reports from 2021 talking about the ‘No Vote To BJP’ — a campaign led by common people. The media reports can be seen here, here and here.
On their X and Instagram pages, the bio has the hashtag #BengalElections2021, indicating that the campaign is an old one from West Bengal
Thus, it is clear that the image is old and is being shared with misleading claims.
