Running a reverse search, our team found an old post on X (formerly Twitter) dated October 9, 2023, with the caption: “Look at the blind, this is the power of Congress, will you boycott Jashodaben or support her? You must like and comment without any fear.” The graphics in the post matched the viral graphics.
We further went through all the social media channels of Aaj Tak but could not locate any such news. Additionally, we conducted keyword search, but were unable to find any reports confirming the viral claim.
It is worth noting that if such a significant development were to take place before the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, it would have been covered by major news channels.
Thus, it is confirmed that PM Modi’s wife Jashodaben has not joined the Congress party. Therefore, the viral claim is False.
