IPL 2024: Riyan Parag’s 54 Powers Rajasthan Royals To Victory Against Mumbai Indians

Mumbai: Riyan Parag’s half-century propelled the Rajasthan Royals to a resounding victory against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday, during the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024. With this win, RR has maintained a perfect record, securing victory in all three of their matches this season, while MI has faced defeat in all three encounters.

MI struggled to bounce back following their lackluster performance in the first innings, only securing four wickets in the second innings. Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, achieved a comfortable victory with four overs to spare.

Earlier, RR bowlers Trent Boult and Yuzvendra Chahal’s three-wicket hauls restricted hosts MI to 125 runs, losing nine wickets in the first innings

Trent Boult and Marco Jansen led Mumbai Indians’ collapse in the IPL encounter. Boult struck twice early in the innings, while Burger added to the pressure, leaving Mumbai reeling at 20 for 4. Despite a brief recovery, Yuzvendra Chahal’s spin triggered a collapse from 76 for 4 to a dismal 125 for 9.
