Fact Check: Viral Image Showing Delhi CM Kejriwal Peeing In Pants Is Fake

An image of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wearing a mask and surrounded by people is widely circulating on social media. Many users claim that Kejriwal peed his pants outside the residence.

NewsMobile fact checked the claim, and found it to be misleading.

With the help of Reverse Image Search, the NM team found a report by ProKerala, dated June 6, 2022, and titled: “Ahmedabad: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Arrives in Ahmedabad”, featuring an image similar to the viral image of the Delhi CM.

According to the report, the Delhi CM was in Ahmedabad to participate in a Tirangaa Yatra in Mehsana.

Upon conducting a close comparison, we found Kejriwal wearing the same attire in both images, including the officials accompanying him.

Thus, it is clear that the image in question is digitally altered. Therefore, the viral claim is Fake.
