An image of a billboard is doing the rounds on social media, claiming that Zara has launched a new “Spring / Summer 2024 Israel Defence Forces Collection”.
A social media user shared the post with a caption: Look how proud Zara is for their supporting a holocaust. keep Boycott zara.

NewsMobile fact-checked the posts, and found it to be false.
We scanned through the website of Zara, but did not find mention of any such collection. Running a Reverse Image Search, we found the same image in a tweet, dated April 20, 2024, with a caption: “A New Art Street by the polish artist Lgor Dobrowolski. The world’s most ethical army in the new spring 2024 collection!”
Another X post shared the same images with a caption (translation): Polish artist Igor Dobrowolski criticised Israel supporter Zara In his work titled “Spring / Summer 2024 Israel Defence Forces Collection”. He emphasised the similarities between Nazis and Zionists.
Scanning through Igor Dobrowolski‘s social media account, our team found that he had shared the post on April 20, 2024. It reads: “Spring / Summer 2024 i$r@£l Defence Forces Collection.
Most moral armies in the world in appropriate uniform. The second photo is a visualisation. I must point out that this is not my work, this behaviour is most likely illegal and I am not doing illegal things. any suggestions for the uniform design? Artist: @igor_dobrowolski”
We also found a video on his account where we can see this poster being put up on a billboard. In the caption, he has also clarified, saying: “I must point out that this is not my work, this behaviour is most likely illegal and I am not doing illegal things.” However, the posters were designed by him.
Thus, it is clear that Zara has NOT launched a new Spring / Summer 2024 Israel Defence Forces Collection. So, the viral post is fake.
