A video of a train engine with a mosque cut-out at the front is doing the rounds on social media. One can see a large banner with some Urdu text written on it. Many users on social media claim that people from the Muslim community have converted a passenger train forcefully into a ‘Muslim Express’ to run between Hyderabad and West Bengal.
A Facebook user shared this video and wrote: ” हैदराबाद से पश्चिम बंगाल जाने वाली ट्रेन को जिहादीयों ने मुस्लिम एक्सप्रेस बना दिया। गार्ड कह रहा है ऐसे गाड़ी नही जायेगी किन्तु जिहादी अड़े हैं कि गाड़ी ऐसे ही भेजो। यह कौन-सी मानसिकता है? अवैध रोहिंग्या मुसलमान का अड्डा बना दिया है ममता बनर्जी ने ,,पाकिस्तान जैसा हाल कर दिया है पश्चिम बंगाल को सिर्फ वोट की खातिर इस न्यूज़ को कोई भी न्यूज़ चैनल वाला नहीं दिखा रहा है कृपया इसे ज्यादा से ज्यादा शेयर करें ताकि केंद्र सरकार इस पर संज्ञान ले सके और ऐसे महा मूर्खों पर कठोर कार्रवाई हो. ये जेहादी मानसिकता के लोग भारत को इस्लामिक राष्ट्र बनाने में लगे हैं आज हिन्दू मंहगाई और बेरोजगारी के चक्कर में कांग्रेस को वोट देता है। जागो हिंदुओ जागो.”

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be false.
Observing the banner carefully, the NM team found Urdu text written on it. But, when translated to English, it reads: “Urs Qadeer Mubarak”. With a keyword search, our team spotted the YouTube channel “gohash” which shares the footage of the same train engine (13148) running with a similar placard as seen in the viral video. The title of the video reads: “46 URS-E-QUADEER HAZRAT KHWAJA SYED MOHAMMED BADSHAH QUADRI CHISHTI YAMANI QUADEER HALKATTA SHAREEF”. The placard on the train reads: “46th URS-E-QUADEER (RH) Bandal Special Train Hyderabad to Wadi Halkatta Shareef.”
Halkatta Shareef — a dargah (tomb) of Sufi saint Syed Mohammed Badshah Qadri-ul-Chishti Yamani Raichuri, known as Badshah Qadri — is located outside of Wadi, Gulbarga District of Karnataka. People visit Halkatta Sharif every year for this Sufi saint ‘Urs’.
Urs simply means the celebration of the death anniversary of a Sufi saint, usually held at the saint’s dargah (shrine or tomb).
According to a press release, issued by the South Central Railway on July 27, 2023, four unreserved special trains were arranged by the Railways from Hyderabad to Wadi and vice versa, on August 1, 2023, for pilgrims attending the 46th Anniversary Celebrations of Urs – e – Shareef of Great Saint Hazrath Khwaja Syed Mohammed Badesha Quadri Chisthy Yamani.
It is to be noted that South Central Railway has been organising these special trains every year during the Urs festival for pilgrims. We found tweets dated back to 2017 mentioning similar travel information.

Therefore, we can conclusively say that the train seen in the viral video was organised by the South Central Railway for pilgrims attending urs of Saint Hazrath Khwaja Syed Mohammed Badesha Quadri Chisthy Yamani. And its claims are fake.
