Amethi: The Congress party office in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi became the target of an attack by unidentified miscreants late on Sunday night. The assailants vandalised several vehicles parked outside the office before fleeing the scene, prompting a swift response from local authorities and triggering protests by party workers.

According to reports, the incident occurred around midnight, catching many by surprise. Congress District President Pradeep Singal promptly rushed to the party office upon receiving news of the attack.

In the aftermath of the assault, a heavy police contingent, led by CO City Mayank Dwivedi, arrived at the scene to assess the situation and pacify the agitated party workers. Dwivedi assured that a thorough investigation would be conducted into the matter, with appropriate action taken against those found responsible for the vandalism.
