Thailand Extends Visa Free Entry For Indians Until November 11th

Bangkok: Thailand has declared that it will waive the visa requirement for Indians travelling there till November 11th, to increase traveler numbers. The nation is well-known for its mouthwatering cuisine, lively cultures, and famously beautiful beaches.

The announcement coincides with the start of the busiest travel and vacation seasons. Travelers get an amazing opportunity to discover many of Thailand’s wonders with this program. The visa-free entry was previously only allowed until May 10, 2024, but it has already been extended until November 11 of this year, giving travellers additional options when organizing their next ideal trip to the nation.

What Is Thailand’s Visa-Free Program?
As per many reports over 12 million visitors arrived in the first months of 2024, a 39% increase year over year. Tourists from China, India, Russia, Malaysia and South Korea are leading the charge. These countries are highlighting their importance in Thailand’s recovery from Covid-19 travel restrictions.

Under this program, Indians can travel visa-free to Thailand and can stay up to 30 days. All we need is a passport and return ticket to ensure a smooth immigration process. Thailand has many experiences for a traveller.

Countries like Sri Lanka in a bid to bolster tourism have extended visa-free entries for visitors from India and select other nations until May 31, 2024. As per this decision, foreign nationals from India, Japan, China, Russia, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia can enter Sri Lanka without a visa for a 30-day visit.
