When NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture, we learnt that two separate picture were clubbed together to create this misleading image.
On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found two pictures.
Picture 1
This was the original picture we came found in one the news article. As it is clear in the picture, Dwayne Johnson is not posing in front of cash.
Picture 2
We also found the picture of the cash which was used in the background.
The two pictures were combined using photo editing software to create the viral image
Moreover, the Facebook page which shared the post is not the official page of Dwayne Johnson.
Dwayne Johnson’s official Facebook page comes with a verified blue tick and the name of the page reads- Dwayne The Rock Johnson.
Hence, the above information proves that the viral post about the massive giveaway is FAKE.
