A quote on Ayodhya verdict attributed to senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal is doing rounds on social.

The caption of the post reads:जब तक जिंदा हूँ, राम मंदिर नहीं बनने दूँगा – कपिल सिब्बल 

Translation: I will not let Ram Mandir be constructed till I’m alive

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found the claim attached to it to be FAKE.

We scanned through the senior Congress leader’s verified Twitter handle and found no such tweet that states the above statement.

We also ran a Google search using keywords like- ‘Ayodhya’, ‘Kapil Sibal’ and found videos & articles where the Congress leader clearly states that he welcomed the verdict saying the dispute is now a history and nation should look forward.

Hence, the above information proves that the a false quote, attributed to Congress MP Kapil Sibal, on Ram Mandir has been circulating online.
