The video of a man beating a child has gone viral on social media, claiming that the he is forcefully attempting to convert the kid to Islam.
The video is shared with a caption: “*ये देखो, हिन्दू औरत से निकाह के बाद उसके बच्चों को किस प्रकार अल्लाह पाक कहने के लिए मारा जा रहा है कैसे जबरदस्ती मु्स्लिम बनाया जा रहा है,* Es video ko jyada jyada share kare.. Or es admi ko esu sazaa mile eski 7 puste bi kaap jaye..” (English translation: See this, after marrying a Hindu woman, how this man is beating her children to convert them to Islam. Share this video so that he gets severe punishment.)

NewsMobile did the fact-check, and found it to be misleading.
On doing a Google Reverse Image search with one of the screenshots of the viral image, we found the same image uploaded by 24NewsHd on July 6, 2022. The report associated with the image reads: “A man became the true barbarian when he subjected his 8-year-old boy to severe torture in Orangi town, Karachi.”
According to another website — Abbo news — report: “Ismail was dozing off, but he woke up after hearing noise by his eight-year-old boy Asad. He became furious as to why the child was making noise when he was resting. He started beating up the boy in the cruellest way. He even tried to strangle the child who was gasping for breath.”
Hence, we can ascertain that the viral claim is misleading.
