Tunisha Sharma Death: Sheezan Khan Sent To 2-Day Police Custody

Mumbai: Actor Sheezan Khan has been arrested as part of the investigation into suicide case of his co-actor Tunisha Sharma, and will remain in police custody for 2 days, a court in Mumbai said on Wednesday.

  • During interrogation, Sheezan revealed that Tunisha had tried to kill herself earlier as well.
  • He added that he had saved her then and had asked her mother to take special care of the actress.
  • According to the First Information Report (FIR), the two actors, who were in a relationship, broke up 15 days back. It is suspected that this left Tunisha upset and pushed her to the edge.
  • The TV actor allegedly died by suicide during a shoot at Vasai near Mumbai. She was shooting for a TV show ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’, also starring Khan. Tunisha was found dead inside a washroom and rushed to a hospital, where she was declared dead.
