Kolkata: Maheesh Theekshana and Tushar Deshpande took two wickets each Chennai Super Kings restricted Kolkata Knight Riders to 186/8 in defence of a mammoth 235 and win by 49 runs at Eden Gardens on Sunday to move to the top of the points table.
With the win, Chennai rose to the top of the points table and now have 5 wins in 7 matches. Kolkata, on the other hand found themselves at the 8th spot with just 2 wins in 7 games.
Rahane showcased sensational stroke-play which was complemented in equal measure by the muscular Dube (50 off 21 balls) and ever-consistent Conway (56 off 40 balls) with CSK scoring an imposing total.
