IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals To Lock Horns With Sunrisers Hyderabad

Date:

New Delhi: Delhi Capitals are set to clash with Sunrisers Hyderabad as they eye their third consecutive win in row at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday.

Both teams had a rough run in the current season of the IPL as they are placed at the bottom of the points table.

Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting had a clear take on DC opener Prithvi Shaw’s form. He claimed that the opener might be back in the playing XI if the current pair doesn’t work out for the side.

However, the top batting order for DC needs to bounce back and get back on track as they move ahead in the tournament.

Sunrisers Hyderabad on the other hand continues to battle with both bat and bowl. After a sublime century, Harry Brook failed to maintain consistency in the tournament. Mayank Agarwal and Abhishek Sharma continued to struggle with the bat and failed to forge a strong partnership in the games.

The Arun Jaitley Stadium remains a low scoring venue even after a small outfield because of the slow and low wicket it has to offer.
