(English Translation: Delhi people enjoying a sip of tea sitting in the Thames River in London)

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found it to be misleading.

On putting the picture through a Google Reverse Image search, we found this picture on a tweet posted by a verified account by the name, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer. Along with the picture, he had claimed that the family in the picture is from Mansa District, Punjab and they were protesting against the sewage problem in their area. It is dated July 18, 2016.

In the comment section of the same post, we found a newspaper clipping from ‘Punjab Kesri’, with the same claims.

Thus, it can be concluded that the above picture is from Mansa District in Punjab and NOT Delhi.
