We initially looked for media reports on Rahul Gandhi’s marriage, but no information confirming the viral claim was found. Further, conducting a Google Reverse Image Search, the NM team discovered a video uploaded on a YouTube channel Kanak News, dated December 10, 2022, with a title: “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi kept his promise, gave helicopter ride to students.”
A news article on Rajasthan Tak news website also mentions that Rahul Gandhi was travelling from Nainani Farm in Bundi to Sawai Madhopur to celebrate his mother Sonia’s birthday. During this journey, one of the children, who was celebrating her 14th birthday, expressed her wish to meet Rahul Gandhi. In response, Rahul Gandhi arranged for all four children of the Nandwana family to sit in a helicopter and took them on a sky trip. The report quoted the girl’s mother, who stated, ‘This was the children’s dream, which Rahul fulfilled.”
