Mamata Banerjee Suffers “Major Injury”; Admitted To Hospital

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has reportedly sustained a ‘major injury’ in an accident on Thursday, as per by the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC). According to initial reports, Banerjee has been transported to the state-run SSKM Hospital in Kolkata for medical treatment.

The All India Trinamool Congress took to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to share photos of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on a hospital bed, revealing a deep cut in the middle of her forehead and blood on her face.

“Our chairperson @MamataOfficial sustained a major injury. Please keep her in your prayers,” TMC wrote.
