Using her Instagram Story as the platform, Swift shared a preorder link for her album and posted a video featuring a typewriter typing out what appeared to be lyrics. “Crowd goes wild at her fingertips/Half moonshine, Full eclipse,” the typewriter conveyed.
Swifties immediately shifted their focus to the singer, praising her “iconic” marketing tactics. One ecstatic fan on X (formerly Twitter) exclaimed, “Mother set this eclipse upp OMGG,” while another appreciated Swift’s thoughtful gesture, stating, “Her teasing these lyrics on the day of the eclipse.”
