B’ Town prays for Chennai flood victims

With Chennai going through its worst phase, Bollywood celebs have joined their hands in prayers. Though the rains that started pouring on November 30 have stopped, the conditions are deteriorating every day.

Showing his condolences, Shah Rukh Khan took to his Twitter and wrote, “May God look after all our brothers & sisters in Chennai. Nature’s fury is strong may we all have the strength to fight it. Insha Allah.”

Praising people’s effort to help Chennai victims, Juhi Chawla tweeted, “Heartening to see so many people involved and working to bring relief and rescue in chennai.”

Actress Sonakshi Sinha wrote, “Praying for all affected in the #ChennaiFloods… Hope all gets ok soon!”

Anil Kapoor tweeted, “As #ChennaiFloods continue to wreak havoc, stories of brave folks opening up their homes and hearts to save others offer a sliver of hope!”

Meanwhile, the ‘Rang De Basanti’ star Siddharth shared images of his house, which was flooded due to the nonstop rains on his Twitter handle and is even helping out those affected by the downpour.

The actor has also urged his followers to de-clutter roads and has been operating relief work since then.
