It seems David Guetta is intent on making the EURO 2016 theme song extra special. Just in case you’d forgotten, Guetta is the man responsible for the official track of the UEFA European Championship next year.
The French DJ-cum-producer will be creating the official song for UEFA EURO 2016 and will be needing one million backing singers for it.
The 48-year-old EDM superstar wants to get as many true soccer fans as he can on the track of the tournament to be held in his home country – France.
“I’m so excited to be working with UEFA on this project in my home country. UEFA EURO 2016 is all about the fans and I want to put them at the heart of everything, especially the music. So I’m trying something very special and asking fans around the world to celebrate this festival of football by being part of the Official Song,” Guetta said.
The music producer had earlier said that it is an honour for him to record the song representing his country.
