Nickel slips on poor offtake

Mumbai, Aug 17 (PTI) Nickel prices slipped at thenon-ferrous metal market here today on stockists selling amidpoor offtake from alloy industries. While, copper, zinc, lead, and tin moved up owing togood demand from industrial users. Nickel declined by Rs 8 per kg to Rs 800 fromTuesday’s close Rs 808. However, copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy,copper wire bar, zinc, lead and tin prices edged up by Rs 2per kg each to Rs 367, Rs 362, Rs 395, Rs 193, Rs 135 and Rs1,395 from yesterday’s close Rs 365, Rs 360, Rs 393, Rs 191,Rs 133 and Rs 1,393 respectively. Copper armiture inched up by Rs 351 per kg. PTI BPD ADIMR
