Rupee recoups 3 paise against dollar in early trade

Mumbai, Aug 25 (PTI) The rupee recovered by 3 paise to67.08 against the US dollar in early trade today at theInterbank Foreign Exchange on increased selling of theAmerican currency by exporters and banks. Forex dealers said foreign fund inflows and a higheropening in the domestic equity market also supported thedomestic unit. The rupee had depreciated by 5 paise to end at 67.11 perdollar in yesterday’s trade amid rebound in the US currency inglobal markets. Meanwhile, the benchmark BSE Sensex rose by 77.99 points,or 0.27 per cent, to 28,137.93 in early trade. PTI SUN KPSMKJ
