New Delhi, Aug 25 (PTI) Two youths have been arrested forallegedly beating to death a mechanic in a fit of rage over atiff during purchasing of golgappas in northwest Delhi’sBhalswa Dairy area earlier this month, police said today. Police had on August 4 found Irfan lying unconscious atKachchi Gali, near Singhaniya Glass godown in Bhalswa. He wasrushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, saidVijay Singh, DCP (north west). Preliminary inquiry revealed that Irfan, who lived inRajiv Nagar, was dumped there by two unidentifiedmotorcyclists. Further probe led the investigators to SwaroopNagar police station area where a quarrel was reported betweentwo groups of motorcyclists on the issue of purchasing ofgolgappas on that day, he said. On scanning the CCTV footage of the area, policeidentified the accused as Sunil Kumar (21) and arrested himfrom his home in Bhalswa area. On his information the otheraccused, Lucky (21), was arrested from Jahangirpuri areayesterday, the DCP said.
