Three-day referee workshop for AIFF match officials concluded

Mumbai, Sep 3 (PTI) The Indian Super League (ISL) RefereeWorkshop conducted by FIFA instructor, Ishiyama Noburu fromJapan, concluded here on September 1. The three-day workshop was an initiative taken by the ISLin keeping with its objective to help football grow across allaspects by conducting numerous theoretical as well aspractical sessions, a media release said. A total of 26 AIFF match officials — 13 referees and 13assistant referees — were trained at the workshop thatfocused on enhancing the knowledge, application andinterpretation of the laws of the game with effective teamworkand communication amongst the officials. The workshop included sessions on topics that weresegregated into new interpretation of laws, teamwork in matchofficials, management skills and field training, it said. PTINRB ARS CMCMSDM
