Pranati Rai Prakash eyes Bollywood, but is not in a hurry

Mumbai, Sep 11 (PTI) She is the winner of "India’sNext Top Model" season two and Pranati Rai Prakash says in thenext five years she sees herself as a Bollywood actress. 21-year-old Pranati had a tough fight in the finale ofthe show from fellow contestants Subhamita Banerjee and JanteeHazarika. "I still want to explore more of modelling. Now that Ihave won the show, I definitely have an edge to work harder. Ihave done a few TV commercials before but now I want to dolots of fashion shows," Pranati told PTI. "Because once I go in the acting side, I think I won’t beable to get back to modelling. I always want to take it handin hand, both of them together. I am just 21, I have time toget into full-fledged acting. For now I will stick tomodelling," she added. "Five years down the line I see myself as a Bollywoodactress… When I am on stage, I get a high. Five years downthe line, I would love to see myself perform on the big screenand at award shows." The MTV show featured actress Lisa Haydon and acephotographer Daboo Ratnani as judges, while VJ-actress AnushaDandekar and Neeraj Gaba were ‘mentors’. Pranati was one of the contenders for Miss India 2015where she won in ‘Miss Beautiful Legs’, ‘Miss Fashion Icon’and ‘Miss Talented’ categories. Pranati said as a child she used to watch the originalshow "America’s Next Top Model" and was amazed at thetransformation the girls on the show went through. For the girl from Patna, there was never a moment whereshe doubted her own capability. But she admired Lisa. "The first time I saw her on the show, I couldn’t take myeyes off. Even though I was in the elimination round, I wasstaring at her. I look up to her and even as a person, I feelshe is the most sorted woman I have ever met." PTI JUR KRK SMNPTP
