Moderate rain forecast for Bengal tomorrow

Kolkata, Sept 16 (PTI) The MeT department today forecastmoderate rain in different parts of West Bengal tomorrow astwo districts in north Bengal received heavy rain while otherparts of the state remained almost dry. Cooch Behar received 146 mm rainfall in 24 hours fromyesterday morning, the MeT department said, while Jalpaigurireceived 43.8 mm rain. The weatherman forecast partly cloudy sky withpossibility of moderate rain in different parts of the stateas there was little or no rainfall in 24 hours from yesterdaymorning. Bankura recorded the day’s highest temperature in thestate at 34.5 degrees Celsius. In Kolkata, the highest temperature was recorded at33.5 degrees Celsius. The MeT department has forecast generally cloudy sky forthe metropolis with one or two spells of rain tomorrow. PTIAMR MDIKA
