Jharkhand emerging as ‘Gateway’ : CM

Ranchi, Sep 20 (PTI) Jharkhand Chief Minister RaghubarDas today said the state with rich resources was fast emergingas the “gateway of Make in India”. “While Mumbai, the Gateway of India, Jharkhand is fastemerging as the gateway of Make in India. Our campaign (Makein India) took off seven months ago with the blessings ofPrime Minister Narendra Modi in this city (Mumbai), during theMake in India week,” a press release said quoting Das. Addressing the Road Show — Momentum Jharkhand GlobalInvestorsÂ’s Summit 2017, in Mumbai, Das said, “It was thevision of our foremost industrial pioneers, Jamshedji Tatawhich set the tone for Make in India back in 1907, inJamshedpur. “Jharkhand has incomparable natural beauty. Its beautyhas the potential to pull people from across the oceaons.JharkhandÂ’s people and insitutions, you can witness hereamongst us, have made a global mark in areas frommanufacturing, to education and sports," he said. “Jharkhand is a rich land. But poverty still loomslarge within. It is our mission to bring our people out ofthis poverty. You, the industry and investors, are ourpartners in this mission. Our governance is policy-driven andone of high integrity," he said. “We call upon one and all to be part of our MissionMomentum Jharkhand Global InvestorsÂ’s Summit 2017, as a team,”Das said, reiterating his resolve to synergise education,skill, development, infrastructural development and livelihoodgeneration to empower the youth of Jharkhand and preventfurther ‘attrition of its human resourceÂ’.
