Big B stuns fans with new look in Shamitabh

Date:

Mumbai: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s first look from the upcoming film ‘Shamitabh’ took everyone by surprise. Big B created a buzz by sharing pictures of himself from the film on his Twitter account.

The 71-year-old has grey unkempt moustaches and beard in the film. The actor has also shared the looks of his co-stars in the film – Dhanush and Kamal Hassan’s younger daughter Akshara. In his tweet Amitabh Bachchan said: “The Shamitabh with the look… there are several others too.. Looks I mean!! (sic).” In another tweet where he is seen along with Dhanush and Akshara he wrote: “Shamitabh… with Dhanush and Akshara ..!! (sic).”

While Dhanush looks sharp in a black coat and dark glasses, Akshara who marks her debut is pictured looking pretty in a light coloured sleeveless dress.

The director of the movie, R Balki for the first time has roped in six directors – Raju Hirani, Gauri Shinde, Karan Johar, Mahesh Bhatt, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Anurag Basu – along with the much-acclaimed lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar and producers Boney Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, to do cameos in his film.

Shamitabh will be Bachchan’s third collaboration with director Balki after hits like Cheeni Kum and Paa, which also earned him his third National award. The film – shot in Goa and Tamil Nadu – is set to hit the screens on early next year on February 6.
