Ukraine’s new leader said German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande will join him in a further phone conference with Russia’s Vladimir Putin on Monday.
President Petro Poroshenko said the new round of telephone diplomacy, scheduled to come just hours before Kiev’s temporary truce with pro-Kremlin rebels expires, was agreed when the leaders spoke by phone for more than two hours on Sunday.
