Joy short-lived for students, vacations extensions only for class 8 and below

Modifying the Sunday’s circular of extending the winter vacations till January 14, Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram released another circular which curbed the winter holidays in Haryana only for the students of classes 8^th and below.

The schools will reopen for students of classes 9^th to 12^th from January 9^th and the timing has been fixed to 10:30AM to 3:30PM. The revised timing will be followed till January 12^th, Office of the Directorate Secondary Education, Haryana told.

However the students of classes 1^st to 8^th can keep enjoying the vacations under their quilt.

Winter vacations in schools to extend only for classes 1st to 8th upto 14th January and schools to reopen on 15th January. On Sunday, there was a circular released which extended the winter holidays for the students till January 14 due to severe cold in the state.
