This World Poetry Day, let your words make some ‘noise’

Date:

World Poetry Day is celebrated on the 21st of March each year. Declared by UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in 1999, its purpose is to promote the reading, writing, publishing and teaching of poetry throughout the world.

Poetry, through its rhythmic language, binds cultures, traditions, thoughts and boundaries. It transcends colour, caste and creed to create oneness of emotions and imaginations. Today, on World Poetry Day, we present thoughts of some poets, who in their own way, have created a vision through words.
