Much to the delight of the dancer fans across the country, T-series and Remo D’Souza announced their collaboration for a dance film starring Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan. According to recent reports, Varun will be paid a whopping Rs. 32 crore for the film.
DNA quoted a source saying, “Varun has been lapped up for a staggering price for the dance film in which he teams up with Katrina Kaif. He will reportedly be paid Rs. 32 cr!” According to reports, Katrina will be paid Rs.7 crores for the film while Remo D’Souza is charging a fee of Rs. 12 crores.
Although the makers are yet to announce the film’s title, rumours are abuzz that Katrina and Varun will be seen together on-screen for the first time in the third instalment of the ‘ABCD’ franchise. The film which also stars Prabhudeva, Raghav Juyal, Dharmesh Yelande, and Punit Pathak is slated to release on November 8, 2019. Katrina Kaif had taken to her Instagram account to share a picture with Varun confirming the news. She posted, “It’s official .@varundvn and me are joining @remodsouza s third dance film. With #bhushankumar @tseries.officialbringing u this incredible project in 3 d. 8th November 2019 💃 🕺 🦄 …….And when u get the choice to sit it out or dance …. I Hope u DANCE…”
Meanwhile, Varun has received immense praise for his performance in his latest release ‘October’ which hit screens on April 13. The Shoojit Sircar directorial which also stars Banita Sandhu has earned Rs. 25.56 crore at the box office so far.
While Katrina Kaif will next be seen in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film is slated to hit screens on November 7, 2018. Katrina also stars in ‘Zero’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. The film is set for a release on December 21, 2018.
