Dr. Prasad gave voice to his passion to ride two-wheelers on national and international roads three years ago and has so far covered over 96,697 km. He is an active member of Harley Davidson Bikers’ Group and owns 10 super bikes.

“For me, riding is freedom of joy and living the dreams,” Dr. Prasad said.

Talking about their journey from Hyderabad to London, Rakshith said, “initially we will cross the Indian border from Guwahati to Myanmar, followed by Thailand, Laos, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France and United Kingdom would be our destination. We would be traveling for approximately 300 kilometers a day on our BMW R1200GS.” When asked about safety and planning, he said “our trip is mapped and organised by Viktorianz travel agency, apart from this we are also carrying essential equipment and servicing kit.”

“I started my journey with Vespa 150, then upgraded to a Hero Honda motorcycle, and almost after 20 years I mounted on Royal Enfield and thereafter I could not stop myself from venturing, we have completed many trips in India one of them was on the stretch from Khardung La to Kanyakumari a journey of over 12,460 kilometres, we have also voyaged on a round trip across the United States, from Miami to Miami covering over 16,000 kilometres.

Apart from this I have been on a road trip exploring the kingdom of Bhutan for about 7,850 kilometres, I have voyaged across the world by marking over 96,697 kilometres on a motorcycle,” said Dr Prasad. Our future ventures would be to Alaska, New Zealand and Australia. For this journey our only concern are the roads North East India, which are bad, rest all is assured, Prasad added.
