Mumbai: Unconfirmed reports suggest that Congress is in a rehabilitation mode. The three names that are mentioned in the party circles for rehabilitation are Ashok Chavan, Suresh Kalmadi and Pawan Bansal.
Staring defeat squarely in the face, Congress cannot afford to take chances in 2014. Winnability is the top priority for the campaign managers this time.
“I have been sidelined by a vested interest group within the party and outside it. But I will soon bounce back. They will not be able to challenge the Congress Party in Maharashtra,” Chavan said at a party meeting in Nanded on Monday night.Â
