Friendsfest offers chance to visit Monica’s home, Central Perk

Date:

London: Comedy Central UK is giving fans of hit American TV sitcom “Friends” a chance of a lifetime by providing them with an opportunity to hang out in Monica’s famous apartment and grabbing a coffee from Central Perk.

The feature is part of the channel’s initiative “FriendsFest”, which is being held next month in London, reported Digital Spy.

Billed as “a celebration of one of the greatest sitcoms of all time”, the event will run from September 16-20.

Key attractions at The Boiler House on Brick Lane will be a full-scale recreation of Monica’s apartment for fans to explore and a Central Perk-inspired cafe.

One can even get their hair done – a la Rachel Green – at a pop-up blow dry salon, or play a round of Joey and Chandler’s favourite game Foosball, while original “Friends” props and memorabilia will also be on display.

Tickets to “FriendsFest” will be available from 12 midday on Wednesday, 12 August – at a cost of 5 pounds each.
