Lamborghini and Bentley not to be part of Paris motors

Date:

While all eyes are focusing towards Paris motor show, some of the major auto giants seem to be choosing to sit back home as luxury car maker Lamborghini and Bentley are the latest to join the list of the brands that are skipping the event. Ford, Rolls-Royce, Volvo and Aston Martin have already confirmed that they will not be taking part in the event.

The reason behind Lamborghini and Bentley skipping the event is to save money at the time when Volkswagen group is struggling with the aftereffects of the dieselgate. Both the manufacturers said that they are revising the event attendance strategy and want to focus on the smaller events where they could directly target the buyers.

It does make sense considering that it costs millions of dollars to manufacturers for being at such big event and for such high end brands with very limited niche, it doesn’t really convert into the increment of buyers. So now the luxury and sports car brands are spending the money on small events where they could directly reach the customers with interest and it’s worth spending their money on. Also a big amount is spent on internet marketing where the manufacturers are reaching the people all around the world together.

Some big name includes Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, Land Rover Discovery, Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain, Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster and Honda Civic Hatchback to name a few. Also this time we can expect number of electric and autonomous concepts from several manufacturers. The event starts on 29th Sept, stay tuned for all the updates!
