Audi launches RS7 Performance in India at Rs 1.59 Crore

Renowned four-wheeler giant Audi has combined ‘Performance’ variant to its RS7 sedan lineup, valued at Rs 1.59 crore. The RS7 Performance is about 13 lakh rupees more costly than the usual RS7 which appears at the price of Rs 1.46 crore.

As the name suggest, the variation is in the performance of the sedan. The Performance variant appears with the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that serves the regular RS7 but it is retuned to beat out 45PS more power and 50Nm of more torque following the total output of 605PS of max power and 750Nm of peak torque.

The RS7 Performance also comes with 8-speed DSG transmission with Quattro AWD system that supports it to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h but can be extended to 280 km/h and 305 km/h with additional Dynamic and Dynamic plus units respectively.

The look and the design of the RS7 Performance continue to be same as the standard RS7 expect some factors like the redesigned taillamps and aluminium finishes at the margins of the front grille and windows and the ORVMs.

Also, the RS7 Performance will be prepared with an exclusive colour ‘Ascari Blue’. The cabin remains identical with all the modern and luxurious features and systems that the RS7 comes with.
