Doha: Who says dreams don’t come true. Just ask young internet sensation Murtaza Ahmadi.
The six-year-old Murtaza Ahmadi was the internet sensation in January, when a photograph of him carrying a plastic bag with ‘Messi‘ scrawled on the back was circualted.
But now Murtaza finally got to meet the Argentine footballer Lionel Messi in Doha.

On Tuesday, the young fan met the Barcelona superstar.
Murtaza Ahmadi, belongs to Jaghori District, in the eastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan.
A video tweeted on Tuesday by the organisers of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar displays the Argentinian forward scooping up Murtaza, and sitting for photographers. According to the tweet, the gathering was organised by the UN refugee agency, UNHCR.
