An ongoing operation conducted by the Indian Army and the Territorial Army in Nagaland on Wednesday has led to the recovery of one AK 56, two Chinese AKs, two grenades, three IEDs, and 270 rounds of ammunition from three killed terrorists.
The operation is currently being conducted by a joint team of 12 Para Commandos of the Army and the territorial against a group reported to be of combined United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) and National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K) terrorists in Lapa Lempong and Oting near Mon in Nagaland.
Indian Army officer Major David Manlum also lost his life during the encounter
