Three members of a family in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur were murdered by unidentified men in an alleged robbery attempt last night.

According to the reports, Sunil Jaiswal who was a 60 year old and his wife Kamini Jaiswal were returning home late at night. They were returning back from his store to their home in posh civil lines area when they were shot by two unknown men. Their 25 year old son, Hritik, opened the door and was also shot.
When another resident of the locality heard the gunshots, he tried to intervene but was also shot but survived and called the police. The police reached overnight but no arrests have been made so far.
According to reports, the residents have claimed that when they asked two constables for help while the crime was taking place they refused as the area was not under their jurisdiction.

The locals of the place have threatened to shut down the city if the assailants are not arrested in the next 24 hours.
