While criticising the Congress for being a party with no ideology, BJP President Amit Shah courted controversy by calling Mahatma Gandhi a “bahut chatur baniya,” saying that the Father of the nation had the foresight to see the Congress’ bleak future.
Amit Shah called the Congress as a “special purpose vehicle for gaining independence” as it consisted of people from all ideologies and did not have an ideology of its own and therefore, was not fit to run the government or country. He further added Mahatma Gandhi had seen this and had called for the dissolution of the Congress, which was being carried out now.
The general public was quick to criticise Shah’s comment, with senior political leaders also joining in, calling for the BJP president to apologize for the comment.
It only reflects RSS/BJP’s utter contempt of Mahatma Gandhi. Shame on you Mr Amit Shah. Apologise to the Nation.

Modi reduced Mahatma Gandhi to his glasses in Swachh Bharat, his party President now reduces him to a Baniya. Every day is 30th Jan now
