TVF’s CEO Arunabh Kumar resigns over allegations of sexual harassment

Founder and CEO of a popular entertainment internet media, The Viral Fever, Arunabh Kumar has resigned from his position over the allegations of sexual harassment made against him by an anonymous blogger.

Arunabh Kumar announced his resignation via Twitter with the resignation letter and also referred a letter of TVF which called this incident as a ‘grave mistake’.

Arunabh Kumar was accused of sexual harassment by an anonymous person via a blog called medium. In the blog, an unknown user accused that Arunabh exploited her sexually several times during her work period of 2 years in TVF. The blogger deleted the post later. Following the post, several others users claimed the same about Arunabh Kumar through the medium blog.

After a huge uproar over the internet, The TVF issued a statement saying “We will leave no stone unturned to find the author of the article and bring them to serve justice for making such false allegations.”

Arunabh Kumar has named COO of TVF Dhawal Gusain as his successor in the letter.
