In another achievement for the electric cars, Japan-based carmaker Aspark has developed an electric car called Aspark Owl which goes from 0-100 kmph in 2 seconds but it missed Tesla Roadster’s world record by 0.1 seconds.
Owl, which can deliver a range of 150 km on a single charge, will reportedly be priced at $4.4 million and start with a limited production run of 50 units.

The Owl has destroyed the acceleration of most of the world’s most expensive fuel-powered street racers. The $3 million Bugatti Chiron has clocked 0-60 in a leisurely 2.3 seconds, while the Lamborghini Aventador does it in a positively glacial 2.7 seconds.
