Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt recently wrapped up the Bulgaria schedule of their film Brahmastra and before the team could start shooting for the next schedule, Ranbir Kapoor took off to London and it was reported that Ranbir is in the city to meet Pakistani actor Mahira Khan who he is allegedly dating.
However, this is far from the truth, as Ranbir is said to be there because of his film ‘Brahmastra’ in which the actor is reportedly playing a man with special powers. According to reports, Ranbir is currently training in London for ‘Brahmastra’ for which the actor is learning martial arts forms like Kalaripayattu and Varma Kalai to get a perfect physique for his character in the film.
Reports suggest that Ranbir will be training there for approximately four weeks. He is also said to be undergoing training for other techniques which are required for high-octane stunts in the film. Brahmastra will reportedly feature some adrenaline pumping stunts and Ranbir will be learning a popular martial art form of Manipur Hyen Langlon which is required for the combat sequences that the makers have chosen for the fighting technique.
According to reports, the makers of the film also want to concentrate on armed style combat Phunaba Ishuba for the film. Since all these forms of martial arts are too complicated to understand in a short span of time, it is being reported that the trainers will come together to at least teach him the basics of all these martial art forms.
Ayan Mukerji starrer ‘Brahmastra’ also stars Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in the film and the next schedule of the film is expected to start in June. And as Ranbir Kapoor is going through his training, Alia Bhatt might join the shoot of his film ‘Gully Boy’ starring Ranveer Singh.
